"As a city mouse, I’ve never fully experienced the raw power of nature—it often scares me. But recently, I’ve felt a magnetic pull towards it, especially living here in South Africa. This connection to the wild has begun to influence both my personal journey and my art. The illustrated print for the pyjamas I designed for Keedo is inspired by this new relationship with nature.

Going to bed can be a real adventure for children; even when they’re tired, they’re not always ready for their night journey. The story I wrote and illustrated, The Bedtime Explorers, uses the magic of nature and the same characters of the pj, to gently guide children into relaxation and imagination, offering them a simple mindful experience before drifting off to sleep."
